VIPER HOCKEY INTERNATIONAL will be undergoing a dramatic change this coming September with the release of our new website, new products and new name.  These changes will reflect the growing nature of our business. 

 

HISTORY

 

Viper Hockey International got its original start in 1986, when at the age of 11, our owner, built and sold his first set of pads under the name McLellan custom goal equipment.  He would continue to make several sets over the next 5 years and by 1991, James had produced gear for several dozens of goalies.

 

At the age of 16, James' focus was on his own playing career and pursuit of playing in the OHL which lead him to Woodstock Ontario.  Hockey and schooling then took over and from 1991 to 1999 any production of goalie equipment was purely for his own self.

    September of 1999 marked significant events and a return to his passion set forth.  Since such time, Viper Hockey has produced its own brand of gear aswell as products for several other small and larger companies some of which are now internationally known.
